Getting Started
Buying crypto on BITNEXU is simple and secure. Follow these steps:
- Create an account – Sign up with your email and complete identity verification (KYC).
- Deposit funds – Add fiat currency via bank transfer, card, or send crypto from another wallet.
- Go to the Buy/Sell page – Select the cryptocurrency you want (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum).
- Enter the amount – Choose the amount in USD or crypto and review the estimated price.
- Confirm the transaction – Click “Buy” and wait a few seconds for the order to complete.
The purchased crypto will appear instantly in your wallet. You can then hold, trade, or withdraw it.
To comply with regulations, we require identity verification for certain features (e.g., deposits above $1,000). Here’s how to verify:
- Log in and go to Settings → KYC Verification.
- Provide your full name, date of birth, and country of residence.
- Upload a clear photo of your government‑issued ID (passport, driver’s license, or national ID).
- Take a selfie holding your ID (optional but speeds up the process).
- Submit the form – our team usually reviews within 24 hours.
You’ll receive an email and in‑app notification once verified.
Deposits
- Crypto deposits: Go to your wallet, select the cryptocurrency, and copy the deposit address. Send funds from an external wallet – they usually arrive within 10‑30 minutes.
- Fiat deposits: Available via bank transfer (SEPA, SWIFT) or card. Minimum deposit $10; processing times vary by method.
Withdrawals
- Crypto withdrawals: Navigate to your wallet, click “Withdraw”, enter the recipient address and amount. Confirm with your PIN and 2FA (if enabled). Withdrawals are processed automatically and appear on the blockchain shortly.
- Fiat withdrawals: Request a withdrawal to your linked bank account. Processing takes 1‑3 business days.
BITNEXU maintains transparent, competitive fees:
- Trading fee: 0.5% per trade (maker/taker). Discounts available for high‑volume traders.
- Deposit fees: Free for crypto; fiat deposits may incur a small fee depending on payment method.
- Withdrawal fees: Crypto withdrawals include a network fee (dynamic, based on blockchain congestion). Fiat withdrawals may have a fixed fee.
- Other fees: No inactivity or account maintenance fees.
All fees are clearly shown before you confirm any transaction.
Security & Account
Two‑factor authentication adds an extra layer of security. To enable it:
- Go to Settings → Security → 2FA.
- Download an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, or similar).
- Scan the QR code shown on screen.
- Enter the 6‑digit code from your app to confirm.
- Save the backup codes provided – they can restore access if you lose your device.
Once enabled, you’ll need a 2FA code for withdrawals and sensitive changes.
If you lose your 2FA device, you can regain access using your backup codes. If you don’t have them:
- Contact support immediately at support@bitnexu.com.
- Provide proof of identity (e.g., a photo holding your ID).
- Our team will verify your request and disable 2FA within 24‑48 hours.
To prevent lockouts, always save your backup codes in a secure place.
Accounts may be locked temporarily for security reasons (e.g., too many failed login attempts). To unlock:
- Wait 15 minutes – the lock will automatically expire.
- If you’ve forgotten your password, use the “Forgot password” link on the login page.
- If you suspect unauthorised access, contact support immediately.
For permanent locks due to policy violations, you’ll receive an email with further instructions.
If you notice any suspicious activity on your account or believe your account has been compromised:
- Immediately change your password and revoke active sessions in Settings.
- Enable 2FA if not already active.
- Contact our security team at security@bitnexu.com with details.
